KANAE'S SCHOOL LIFE

Japanese schools are very different from foreign schools. They have many strict rules. It is rare to see Japanese schools for you, so I think you'll be interested in them. First, both boys and girls must wear school uniform to go to school.We have three kinds of uniforms, because there are four seasons in Japan.(cold winter, cool or warm spring and fall, and hot summer) We think our school uniforms are not fashionable at all. Moreover to say, we can wear only white sneaker. Because maybe white is looked clean by everyone. We have many places which mustn't go without chaperone. (trip, karaoke, consert, restaurant, a night game, fireworks display, etc.) Am I the only one to think that these rules are bad?

Last let me introduce our daily school life.

by 8:30 We have to arrive at school(only on foot).
8:30-8:35 morning meeting(attendance)
8:35-8:50 cleaning(tidy up time)
8:55-9:45 the first period
9:55-10:45 the second period
10:55-11:45 the third period
11:55-12:45 the fourth period
12:55-13:15 school lunch time
13:15-13:55 noon recess
14:00-14:50 the fifth period
15:00-15:50 the sixth period
15:55-16:10 meeting
Go home from school.(We have no school on Sunday, the second and fourth Saturday in Japan.)
